The Institute for all practitioners concerned with improving the highway environment and delivering a safe, sustainable transport system. IHIE members work in traffic engineering, highway maintenance, development control, materials, road safety, design, transportation planning, signal control, sustainable transport. 

Structure

The aerospace industry is global and The Royal Aeronautical Society reflects this. Although centred in the United Kingdom, it has over 19,000 members in almost 100 countries worldwide. IHIE branches cover the UK. They run site visits, CPD seminars, technical meetings and presentations and occasional social events.
